Reggie Jackson, or "Mr. October" for his outstanding performances in the postseason, is baseball's most memorable clutch player. In 27 Fall Classics, the 1973 AL Most Valuable Player hit 10 homers and had a .357 batting average. With 563 career home runs Jackson became the first player to hit 100 or more homers with three different teams, the Oakland A?s, the New York Yankees and the California Angels. In 1993 Mr. October became an official member of the Baseball Hall of Fame. Ted Williams will forever be remembered as the all-American boy. As a baseball player and a war veteran, Williams deserves those credits. He is also considered one of the best hitters of all time, and some would even argue that if it wasn't for three years serving in the war, he could have gone down as the greatest player ever. Who could argue with a .344 lifetime average, 521 home runs, over 2,000 RBI. And of course, he was the last player to hit over .400, doing so in 1941 with a .406 average. Reggie Jackson has hand signed great 16x20 photograph of him with manager Ted Williams of the Washington Senators during spring training in the early 1970s in Florida. A Steiner Sports Certificate of Authenticity is included.
